DOUBLE SECOND

Our Double Second has 31 notes and a 9" skirt. It plays the melody, counter melody, and harmony. The almost 2 1/2 octaves has a register similar to the Double Tenor, but with a deeper, warm, mellow voice. Its versatility allows it to be played as an ensemble instrument complimenting chords, carrying the melody or counter melodies, or to perform solo, often the preferred pan by many professionals.
